A Solemn Celebration of Service and Sacrifice

On 3rd September 2025, St. Charles Women’s PU College celebrated Teachers’ Day with a solemn and meaningful Holy Mass offered in gratitude for the invaluable service of teachers. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Vivek Lionel Basu, Principal and Associate Director of St. Joseph’s Institute of Skills. In his homily, he highlighted the noble vocation of teaching as a mission of service, sacrifice, and inspiration, calling teachers to be guiding lights who shape the minds and hearts of young learners. The celebration was organized under the leadership of our Principal, Dr. Sr. Nancy, and vice Principal, Sr. Elisabeth Leo, whose efforts made the event spiritually enriching and truly memorable! The Holy Mass was attended by the Management, faculty, staff, and students, who joined together in prayerful thanksgiving for the gift of teachers. The liturgy was marked by devotion, active participation, and a spirit of gratitude, making it a truly grace-filled beginning to the Teachers’ Day festivities. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice Principal, Sr. Elisabeth Leo, who expressed deep gratitude to the celebrant, the management, teachers, and students for their meaningful participation in the Holy Mass. The Management of St. Charles Women’s PU College extended heartfelt appreciation to Fr. Vivek Lionel Basu for his gracious presence and inspiring message, and to all teachers for their unwavering dedication to the mission of education.
